In 1984 I installed (with permit) a 70 foot tower in West LA. The neighbors whined and complained. 23 years later I wanted out of LA and took the tower down prior to moving. The neighbors now whined and complained that their neighborhood "landmark" was gone!
What's the point?
ANYTHING different than yesterday is no good!
