Det ser spændende ud.
og så forklaring for dem som ikke kan åbne et link: SLAC develops novel compact antenna for communicating where radios fail https://www6.slac.stanford.edu/news/2019-04-12-s lac-develops-novel-compact-antenna-commu nicating-where-radios-fail.aspx ---------- Mvh Ebbe. Redigeret 26/04-19 18:04

Nu kan man (næsten) have en langbølge og mellembølge senderantenne i brystlommen - eller i det mindste i håndholdt udgave :-) Det er nyt, men baseret på en fire år gammel opfindelse/opdagelse: 20 Apr 2015, New Theory Leads to Gigahertz Antenna on a Chip. Tech history and modern physics inspire a new path to smaller antennas: http://spectrum.ieee.org/tech-talk/telecom/wire less/gigahertz-antenna-on-a-chip Citat: "... For their experiment the researchers used piezoelectric filters that consist of two interdigitated contacts deposited on a piezoelectric film, devices similar to crystal frequency filters now used in cell phones. When excited in a symmetric mode, they act as a simple L-C circuit, explains Sinha. When excited in an asymmetric mode, whereby one of the two interdigital contacts was excited while the other interdigital contact was left floating, the piezoelectric filter acted as a monopole antenna, in fact, in a way comparable to the antenna described by Marconi in 1900. Experiments near one of the GPS frequencies (1575.42 MHz) showed that the new antennas had an efficiency (the percentage of the power of the RF signal converted into electromagnetic radiation) of up to 60 percent. Sinha reports that their antenna was able to radiate one watt of power, which about what’s needed by most portable devices. For their next experiments they will try to create dielectric antennas for longer wavelengths. “We are thinking of bands between 200 and 600 MHz, they are interesting, we could, for example, replace large television antennas by smaller ones,” says Sinha. ..." 09 Apr 2015, New understanding of electromagnetism could enable ‘antennas on a chip’: https://web.archive.org/web/20160304113152/http: //www.cam.ac.uk/research/news/new-unders tanding-of-electromagnetism-could-enable -antennas-on-a-chip Citat: "... In new results published in the journal Physical Review Letters, the researchers have proposed that electromagnetic waves are generated not only from the acceleration of electrons, but also from a phenomenon known as symmetry breaking. In addition to the implications for wireless communications, the discovery could help identify the points where theories of classical electromagnetism and quantum mechanics overlap. ... Working with researchers from the National Physical Laboratory and Cambridge-based dielectric antenna company Antenova Ltd, the Cambridge team used thin films of piezoelectric materials, a type of insulator which is deformed or vibrated when voltage is applied. They found that at a certain frequency, these materials become not only efficient resonators, but efficient radiators as well, meaning that they can be used as aerials [=antenner].

Impulsbevarelsen gør at amplituden må blive meget lille. Alternativt brug fotoner -de har ingen masse. |

Citat: "When excited in an asymmetric mode, whereby one of the two interdigital contacts was excited while the other interdigital contact was left floating, the piezoelectric filter acted as a monopole antenna" Så det er elektromagnetisk energi som udstråles. En monopolantenne udstråler jo elektromagnetisk energi. ---------- Glenn, OZ1HFT Redigeret 05/05-19 10:54
